i would so join..but then i read this: "It'd have to stay simple, but the idea is that folks who sign up will agree to a normalized weigh in on the same scale. That info will be posted. Yes folks, posted for the whole MH world to see. So, if you're too much of a pansy to be honest about it, this isn't for you."

Changes, changes will be posted. Original weight wont matter.

In that respect anyways, when you begin to shed the fat(water biased) material you will lose weight. But the dense muscle will also gain weight. So while you slim and if you choose to bulk up(guys) your weight will increase not decrease while the muscle is burning even more fat since it requires more calories to be sustained.

Dont be scared away. Personal information is infact your personal information.

They are pretty good but the pastas and pizzas aren't the best health-wise. The salad and soups are killer.

I agree don't be scared. Most of us can stand to lose at least 10 if not tone up the jiggly. I think we should stick to the orriginal intent - Posting of the INITIAL weight. But if EVERYONE is scared, we could vote - then it will be fair.

IF I read everything correctly it will start in Humble for the first weigh in and move around every two weeks to the woodlands, kingwood, atascocita, etc so that no one member has to drive a million miles all the time. It would ALSO be nice to varry the days so we can all attend at least once. (I can NEVER come on a Monday, I work that night.)

As stated in the orriginal thread, I'm in because I want this weight gone before my 20th High School Reunion in July!

So, Vote for the INITIAL date and let Tyme2Move tell us when and where and lets get this show on the ROAD!

Let's keep this on track guys; otherwise it'll unravel. Simple and sweet. Sheila has generously volunteered to set up a meet for the north siders every 2 weeks and make sure the same scale is provided each time for consistency.

If the thought of posting your weight or measurements is too traumatic, ask her to post + or - however many pounds/inches and there ya go--there's still some accountability, and others can rejoice or mourn with you.

Me and two other mh ladies have started a strict diet - starting with a nine-day cleanse and I'm starving!.

It's not a restrictive in how much you can eat- just what you can eat. And I'm missing my fat and calories. I had no idea just how much. It'll be worth it, though. I *tentatively* weighed in on the scale in the gym locker room- the super accurate dr-type scale, and with jeans, jacket and shoes I weighed 126- so I figure 124 nekkid.

Okay- pity party over. Otherwise I'm feeling happy and healthy! Keep it going, girls!

If anybody is interested in starting the cleanse and dieting with us- just pm me for instructions.
