what program are you using?

I put the avi's from my gopro into iMovie and do my editing and then export to mpeg 4 and presto.

I have done them through Adobe Premier as well. Don't remember what settings I used though. I will open my last premier project with the gopro up tonight and see and i will report back.

Hey MeKrew, my videos are anywhere from 100MB to 500MB. The last two I uploaded were:

MSR-H 03/21/09 First Adv Session Highlights, with a size of 134MB. To create this, I used Corel Video Studio X2-Pro. I converted it to mpeg4 with VideoStudio.

MSR-H Adv Group w/Mr. Unassailable.. 3/21/09 11:30 am part 1, with a size of 493MB. I created this with TrackVision and converted it to mpeg4-h.264 with the software.

The second one is much larger because I had to use the mp4-h.264 codec, instead of straight mp4. I had a bit of drift (.5 to 1 second) in the sound from the video, and you can really tell when playing it with the data acquisition.

You really want to convert it to mp4 (mpeg4) prior to your upload; that's been getting me the best quality with smaller size files.
