The way i read it and discussed it with i beleive his name was John??. Was that they would let an 11 year old race a 8 hour endurance as long as they approved it but they wont let them race a 45 minute sprint?? Just plain sucks. Anyone know one of those crooks that make fake birth certificates??

F7 class is what you want him to run in. The best F7 bike you can get for the money for a young rider is the Honda NSR 50. You will see many of these this weekend.

Honda XR100 is also a good bike, but probably not the best choice for a kid as they are taller than most bikes out there.

If you prefer a motard set up, then a Kawasaki KLX110 (Suzuki makes an equivalent bike) is also a good choice.

There are still a few Yamaha YSR50's out there, but most of them are no longer orginal 50s.

Hope this helped.

You're welcome. Like mentioned above, the scooter class could also be an option, bu at 12, your kid is elligible to enter other classes, so F7 is better IMHO.

I have been dying to drag knee on that thing. I might have to sneak it out of the house though. Brena thinks I will crash it. What does know anyway?

Any teams need a back-up rider?

He did 2 years on a Polini GP4 (pocket bike) and I will be glad to not see him jammed on one of those anymore. But they serve a purpose.
