I can't this year due to three kids all playing sports on Saturdays. Figure I oughta actually show up and be a Dad while they are little.

With that said, I am thinking about selling my 2000 XR100R that we used for Team No Red Line Essay. One of my other team members fixed up a bike and when I can run on occassion, I will ride his for the occassional Endurance.

Freshened motor and new clutches with a few endurance races on it, bigger XR200 carb, slick on the rear, sticky scooter tire on the front. You could run a slick on the front if you wanted. CR80 front end with disc brake set up, and I have all the dirt set up to go with it. Handles very well. Perfect for learning.

I am going to College Station Wednesday to pick up the dirt pieces. I'll give a full inventory after Wednesday when I have everything in hand. Once I get it all together, I will post in the For Sale section.

I think I also have a larger front drum set up with 16 inch tires of a Ninja 250, but I need to make sure.

No idea on price as of yet. If anyone is interested before I post it in the for sale section, let me know and you can check it out and make an offer.

James who? The only James I know is the one that's always behind me. Is that the one you're talking about?

Why wait to try to catch me? Just go ahead and declare defeat now so it won't be as embarrassing at the track

James told me last night he wasn't going to, so you need to go get the Katoom and come racing to carry the banner!

Coming out on Sunday to see how everything works, and bringing my 12 year old to see if he fancies picking it up.

No sprints on Sunday? And I'm not sure what he could enter?? No doubt I will be able to corner an organiser.

Where are the best seats in the stands, and which team does the best hospitality?

Come by the Bipolar Tent. You'll see our banners! We will have a load of kids there with us too.

Sprints are on Saturday.

This is from the TMGP forum

As with every year we have had many questions asking what bike/classes can an ?? year old rider ride in. We did attempt to get verifiable racing experience for younger riders to ride up to the next age level. However, we were told by the Insurance company that there are some pending lawsuits (not from our club) dealing with minors that have to be settled prior adjusting any of our minor rules. So i am restating them below and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

8 to 10 year olds will only be allowed to race Scooter and 12 and under. NO ENDURANCE

11 to 12 year olds will not be allowed on Formula 6, Formula 5 or Unlimited bikes or in Formula 5, Motard, Backwards or Unlimited classes and must be evaluated before being allowed in the Endurance Race

13 to 15 year olds will not be allowed on Unlimited bikes and must be evaluated before being allowed in Formula 5, Motard, Backwards, Unlimited or the Endurance Race

16 to 18 year olds must be evaluated before being allowed on Unlimited bikes or in Formula 5, Motard, Backwards, Unlimited or the Endurance Race

Thanks I will do that.

I guess im confised over what those race classes translate to in terms of actual bikes.

We normally (UK) go from minimotos, or pocket bikes as they are called here, to GP125 at 12. He's not really ready for 125 yet, so looking for 'something' for the next year or two. An introduction to a geared bike would be good.

If I could jump on it, maybe that would be fun too.

I'm in. Racing sprints like always, but with a new (to me) bike for F5 and unlimited classes.
I may enter the endurance on Sunday, but have no firm plans yet.
