How much does 1 tire warmer pull??

Looking into buying a portable generator, need one that can hold a set of tire warmers, that's all nothing else.

Anyway, what does 1 tire warmer pull? I've heard 1000 watts

BTW, I lost the specs on the warmers but I run Suzukas for now

For the warmers like mine " The smaller front tire warmer consumes 450 watts while the larger rear warmer consumes 550 watts."

From Chicken Hawk... "How many watts do my tire warmers draw?

A Superbike set of warmers draws 1150 watts (550 Front and 600 Rear)."

what brand do you have? I just purchased a set of dual temp Suzuka warmers. i believe they are manufactured by Chicken Hawk. According to Chicken Hawk, the front is 550 watts and the rear 600. Harbor Freight has a 2000 watts surge/1600 continuous for $300. that's the route i'm taking.

edit: beat me to it.

I've seen the harborfreight one, but I really want the Honda super quiet 2000 watt.

Too bad it's $1100

You think if I changed the muffler out it would make it pretty quiet??

I am glad you asked this question. I was wondering this myself. I am about to put a good size inverter in the truck. Prolly at least 1500-2000 watts and was wondering if I could run tire warmers off it without a problem.

in that case it may be cheaper to just buy a generator that burns gas out of only ONE cylinder....
