Now that you guys are talking about those things, I have two questions.

One, some small muscle between two ribs on my back got a small tear, it's been like that for a few months and sometimes it really bothers me, is there anything i can take to accelerate the healing process??

And second, I want to tone up, I don';t want to put a lot of weight, what i want is to build some more muscle. I'm 5.11 and 165 and I think I could put about 20 more pounds.

I used to work out 3 to 4 dyas a week, but ever since i broke the leg, I haven't do it, maybe in another month.

go to the doctor. i bet he'll give you roids for your back.
if you want to get tone just focus on lighter weight and more reps. focus on full motion and do them slow.

hey if u wanna gain 20 more pounds.. eat 3300 calories.. depending on ur aviticty level is noraml.. if ur out the roof.. then bump it up to 4k... but if the most u do in activvity is lift.. then keep it at 3300.. eat mostly protein.. only eat the carbs in the first 1000 calories.. then make it mostly protein... after ur workout.. drink a protein shake... stay away from the cardio till u get the 20 lbs in muscle u want.. then run ur off.. ive gained 15 lbs in one month but that was when i was a fatty.. and i had the reserves to do that.. be happy with 5 lbs a month..after u gain 5 lbs.. bump ur calories up by around 500...

im confusing...

Just keep on with it, and don't get discouraged, different people gain at different speeds, make sure your doing a thorough (sp?) workout, i.e. don't forget to hit your back/legs/calves/whatever because any muscle that you aren't working out, isn't getting bigger which means thats less you will weigh (if your giong by weight).

If your not taking any protein might look into getting a tub of whey protein, I recommend Isopure chocolate, it mixes the best and tastes the least chalky

Of course a girl at 130 is meaty if you weigh 130, but if you weigh 200 130 isn't that bad, just more cushion for the pushin!

I'm 6'4 185lbs and workout 3 times a week... I've gained alot of strength the past few months and I've gotten a little bigger but I'm really getting frustrated. I take in close to 200 grams of protein a day and eat healthy stuff like chicken, turkey, pasta and the likes. I just can't seem to put on real mass. I'm definitely not into taking supliments or weightgainer but I do want to get to 200lbs by end of the year. I stopped doing cardio for the time being because I generally lose weight when I play lots of ball or run.

Any suggestions as to a diet I should be on to pack on the size?

Hey man, I'm six foot two and always seemed to stay right at 195 no matter what, I know what you mean, I would get stronger but not heavier.. all I can say is stick with it, when I first started working out I weighed in at 160, those 40 pounds came quick (little over two years) but then it was like the brakes came on.

Up your protein a little, and you might consider taking some kind of shake, like I said I always recommend isopure, but the reason for this is you can drink it immediatly before bed and you will notice an improvement on your mass and weight.

If your dead set at not taking weight gainers, then eat a can of tuna fish (still over 30 grams of protein per can) right before bedtime. The key is to eat before bed really.. but don't get discouraged
