+1 for Sl!mP!ckens! and FLYIN'DUC.
Best scenario is cop doesn't show up on your court day, case gets dropped, worst is you get deferred adjudication; def.adj costs you about the same as the ticket, but if you're good for the probation period, it stays of your record and your insurance will also stay within normal limits.

I've used Robert Eustler before. Supposedly Sprecher is the one that all attorneys use

Back in the days of the 55mph speed limit I was popped in my car for
81 in a 55. I called around and found the speedo shop that did the
state calibrations. Went and had my speedo verified accurate. Went to
court and told the judge that I had my speed control set to
75 for the past 10 miles, would plead guilty to 75, here is the verification
from the shop that does the states speedo's that mine is accurate.

He made it 75 in a 55 and I saved $300....

Just a thought....

Um... Don't tell the girlz in the court office....

I got popped for the first time on a bike in my life. He clocked me
at 80 in a 55, officer was nice, wrote it for 75 in a 55, called and they
said yes to MSF/DD course, showed up, they looked it up (weren't sure
about MSF) gave me the paper work and away I go....

I think it is a state law, not up to local jurisdiction...

Am I missing something? Doesn't 75-55=20 over?

Lack of accountability is what got this country in such a mess. If you can't afford to speed, don't. Cost includes fines, higher insurance rates, fuel, tires and brakes. I'd love to see a judge make you do a trackday, you'd learn a lot more than with DD, and maybe next time check yourself on the streets.

I'll leave all the runner coments alone..........stupid hurts.
