dude we tried everything we could think of. i looked over every fuse and relay and couldn't figure out what the fck the deal was.

As I mentioned, you left the key on and the module was still processing signals and awaiting to actuate devices, as it is intended to do. As the battery voltage dropped, the module couldnt sustain itself.

A fuse would blow from overamperage, not under. Without the module properly being switched off and running down on power, its possible it is damaged.

Did you try, after putting the new battery in, turning the key on for a few minutes, letting it sit, then turning off the bike, removing the ground cable for another few minutes and reinstalling it? If it doesn't respond after that, pray your warranty will cover the fried ECU.

I wasn't there, but dustin did say he talked to Mack and he did let it sit for 5 min then turn it off and unhook it and for a bit of time then hook it back up or something to that nature it was what Mack instructed him to do.
