, is he is okay...??? I saw him laying on the floor and the paramedics telling him to stay down... his bike did not seem to be that bad... anyone know what happened?

did he have a helmet on? we just came thru there from galveston (we just got home) and one bozo on a yellow gxsr was wearing a wife beater and didnt have his helmet on....it was attached to the side of his bike....there was some heavy traffic and the speeds were no greater that 20mph.

whoever it is, i hope he's alright!

LOL wtf? It's not even hot out yet! It was a perfect riding day and totally not too hot for a jacket/helmet.

I don't get why you spend money on a helmet to strap it on your bike. Is it like "Dude, yeah, I have the money for a helmet, but I'm too badass to wear it! I live DANGEROUSLY"

PS: Not trying to start a gear hijack, it just seems dumb to leave it strapped on when it's not even close to hot outside and you have one.
