Don't know about fit compared to other brands, but my x-11 has awesome airflow. Fit and finish is top notch too.

Well keep in mind that once you wear a tight fitting helmet over time, it gets a little looser and feel better. Kind of like your shoes, well that was what I was told ...

i honestly love the suomy more, the inside feels more "expensive" than the shoei. i personally only ride with three brands: shoei, suomy, and arai.

rf1000

I tried on some Sumoy helmets at a local dealer, and the top portion of the helmet was way too tight in an XL. The rest of the helmet fealt fine, but the top was extremely tight. I think a XXL may have been too loose everywhere but the top of my head.
So I tried an Arai quantum(which I really liked), and a RF1000. The Arai fealt more comfy inside, but it also fealt a little large(XL), and the L fealt too small. After wearing the RF1000 for a while It streched out and fit perfect! So I ended up getting this RF1000 Diabolic b
Quality seems top notch, haven't had a chance to ride with it, but if it isn't up to expectations cycle gear said I could exchange it for another within 30 days. Plus the 20% off at their new location helped me make the decision

KBC VR2 Chrome Flare

I bought this one for $110 shipped to my door in 3 days.
This one is Mat Mladins helmet but just a different model. They have XL but you need to call. Most shops sell these helmets for over $250.00 and don't have all the models.
