Yep! Since we started we have ridden anywhere from 25-35 per year! We spend just about every other weekend at a track somewhere. Since Bubby and I both ride it makes it easier since there is not fighting with your SO about spending all your time and money on trackdays.

No need for clarification, I know that, however I'll take my chances anyday on crashing at the track than on the street.

This might seem like an odd question, but you and Tim have kids but I've never seen them at the track, is there a reason for that?

We have 1 son. He is 13 now but when we started he was 9. For the first two years Bubby and I rode half days. Meaning we cornerworked half day and rode half day or I would ride am sessions and Bubby would ride pm sessions. That way one of us was always there to keep and eye on him. Now if we are close to home he stays at home or we set him up in the back of the Tahoe with all his game stuff and he is content to chill out in there. He is a great kid and always behaved well while at the track.

No! He likes telling his friends that his parents "race" motorcycles but he has no desire to ride. Tim and I have encouraged him but we will not push it on him.

Ive never hated the track, only hate it when I pull a dumb a** and crash. My favorate quote after crashing at Daytona from Bill Drake "welcome to experts b*tch". BTW going from novice racer to expert racer is a huge jump, make one mistake and you will be passed for sure.

I have never done a trackday becuase I don't plan on racing. Trackdays are for racers only and you have to have a race lisence to even be on the track, right?

The first year of track, I didn't like it as much. I was just riding in circles literally. I would putt around all the time on the track because I don't no point in pushing myself and wreck out. Still today, I still putt on the track, sometimes.

If you aren't confident in leaning the bike to do its job and hesitate, accidents can happen and the day won't seem fun.... my 2 cents
I see where ur comin from but I totally disagree!

Confident vs cocky, you sound cocky..... go show Rossi whats up!!!!!

I thought all people rode track FOR the personal challenge to be faster, smoother, and make progress everytime. and making all those 'jobs', like (braking, shifting, concentrating, body position, throttle control, etc) become second nature....

I almost quit after my first time out ... but I decided to go back one more try and maybe it was because this time we went clockwise instead of CCW at MSRH but things just started to click and I was having fun.

I knew one noob who did three TD’s. He was getting instruction but he just wasn’t advancing. I noticed after his third track day he still had inch and a half chicken strips. No I didn’t say anything, but I haven’t seen him since. Guess he didn’t feel like paying so much to ride slow. and that's.....ok.

I was at Cresson one time and a guy was there on his polished and chromed Busa for his first trackday. He packed it up and left after the 3rd session and basically stated he wasn't ready for it.
