Should I paint my wheels, or no?

newexhaust9to

I'm thinking about either painting them red (to match the graphics on the bike), white (my jacket and helmet are red/white/black), or bronze (just because I've got bronze wheels on my satin black CRX, and they look awesome)...

I've also got some red 'rim-tape' stripes that I haven't decided if I should put on instead of painting them...

opinions?

That SUCKS, dude...A diesel motor?

my topic, I'd like to hear the rest of this story...your bike looks effin' sick...I'm seriously thinking about removing the decals and doing my wheels bronze...

But what happened, exactly?

I had my bike parked in the shop where we rebuild/test diesel motors. Anyway, there was a motor on a stand in front of my bike. That motor was hit by my former co-worker(he backed into it with his car), and the motor/stand tipped over onto the bike.. which was then sandwitched by another motor that was on the ground. I guess it's somewhat my fault I parked inside, but it was raining and didn't want to leave it out. Luckily his insurance covered it.

Here is my new bike with red wheels

Red wheels look nice if done right. My new 636 has red wheels from the factory, and they look nice.. With your bike I'd stick with the red, considering you don't seem to have much else that is bronze. On the 636 LE they changed the forks/brakes to silver just so it wouldn't contrast with the red. I love the thought of gold/bronze wheels but I think you would need something else to match it. The silver frame would prob. not mix well. I painted the exhaust on the 10 just b/c it didn't look right with the gold wheels...

red rims would be too much, do the red stripe, it'll go better with your bike. black and red rims for a black and red bike.

Yeah, but the opinions he is looking for are for his rims on his bike. He didn't ask what should I do with my money?
