We're open till 7:00 during the week. If you bring it by I can check it out real quick, no charge.
If the races aren't dented you shouldn't have to repalce the bearings, just adjust them.

but, it happens when he is going stait not just turning, I have had two sets of rotors that developed a rough spot on them, and one had a scratch, made a loud ticking noise, but if I aplied the brakes hard the noise would go away. Just inspect the rotors, you might find a spot..

ps.
I guess your on the bet with me Hainess, I'll pay, if your right.....

Not yet... still have a few more things to take care of. Are you still considering hitting up a trackday later on?

These are a varity of problems to look for while riding.....Also do a short ride and without using your front brake after pulling over check to see it your rotors get hot. I'm sure there's plenty of riders that have had similar problems. We had a guy that had something of this sort and it was the bearings in the front wheel that were bad. He ignored the problem and later the bike front wheel collapsed causing him to low side. Also your caliper might just be sticking and causing it to apply to much pressure. This will cause the rotors to heat up and this is why I asked you to do a short ride and check them. If your calipers are not working you may need to bleed the entire system and have the piston removed and cleaned as well as inspected.
Been there done that.......hope this helps, later!
Front wheel bearings- Winner!
