MotoSplorin' Section?

I've been inspired by this site: http://www.advrider.com/forums/

Seems like more folks have been writing some nice narratives with pics to report their adventures, and it'd be rather nifty if we could have a place to organize them. I wanna encourage more MHers to go out and explore then share with the rest of us, so pleasssssssssse Mr. Solracer--can we haz a MotoSplorin' Section?

Well, the only thing ghey about it is that you listened to something Azylum said and took it to heart. Never, ever do that. It's like...feeding a gremlin after midnight or in the wind or chewing on aluminum foil if you have old-school tooth fillings...you get my point.

You have to realize that 90% of those "adventures" fall into 2 groups: posing at pee-pee-one and running away from po-po...one. Neither of which is wise to be documented on account of a) massive peer mocking b) providing evidence

j/k

It definitely seems like some of the peeps in here take some interesting rides, so I'd love to see something like that.

Soooooooo, are we gonna get it? Gonna get it? Gonna get it?

Come on Chris--I hardly ever ask for anything here ya know, and the last time I asked for something, all I wanted were a couple of nice lil kitteh smilies, but that never happened. So like the mature, well-grounded adult that I am, I let it go. No bitter here. I mean I hardly ever think about it. It's prolly only been...two times--if that--I've thought something like: jeez, if anyone cared about me on MH they'd take a few moments to add a couple of measly ol' kitteh smilies. It's not like it costs 'em anything. I'm so unloved. But that's all in the past. I mean the dog lovers here far outweigh the cat lovers, and there are no dog smilies. Of course...I don't think anyone's asked for them. But wait...I'm getting off track. So how's about the Motosplorin' Section?

That has to be among the top 10 funniest posts I've seen in MH. Give this poor woman her section or at least a kitteh smilie.

Folks have different takes on adventure riding--or what I call MotoSplorin'--but if you'd like to take a gander at what I'm trying to encourage folks to do, see here:

I only looked through the first few ones and I have to say they are absolutely on par with the best of advrider RRs!

Thank you for the links!

Thanks! I stick close to home, but with the right folks and the right mindset, even close-to-home can be an adventure. Someday I hope to get to some more "exotic" places.

What if motosplorin' doesn't involve a bike? Does that still make it motosplorin'?
