For me as a big man I like the way the gixxer feels on my arms. Both are smooth but if I was choosing right now, I'd go with the gixxer.

hmmm... Ive ridden the K5 but never a Zx10r..
Really the only thing I dont like about the ZX10 is the gauges... They seem hard to read... And does the ZX10 have a shift light?

Oh and the K5 comes with a stock steering damper

If it where me i would hunt and hunt for the best deal both bikes are great and you cant go wrong with either...Me personally i would choose the gsx-r soley on the tach i hate the tach on the 04-05 10rs.

Now if i where buying brand new i would chooose the 10r and put a nice exst. and header on it....

In all esence you really cant go wrong with either....both trudmendusly powerfull bikes and both great machines...

Looks like the gauges have been fixed on the 06 ZX10R (kind of).

And I'd take the 10R cause it's gonna look real purty sittin next to my 12R.

04 R1,

Who the uses the tac?! Put another shift light on it that is bright enough to be seen using peripheral vision. Just my opinion but if you are busy lookin at the instrument cluster your eyes are not on the road where they should be. By the way I happy with my 10r............ Pay no attention to me Im off because someone backed into my bike and knocked it on the side causing damage just the other day.

More balanced package, power is more useable, more rider friendly. (If riding an ICBM could be called "friendly")
