I was cautious as it was our team's bike and my first time riding a GSXR 600 race bike, I still managed to ease in and have fun.

I for one would love to go back and ride the track, rain or shine . Next time however I'd like rains over the DOTs though

You ready for TWS (Texas World Speedway) Dean?
A little like you, Moe, I didn't despise ECR in those brutal conditions as much as some did, but I have certainly had more fun. Sunday practice was not even close to being fun, although it was interesting. I decided to try and help Dean with some lines in one session, but he had a lot of learning on his plate what with his being a PN and all, and was mostly concentrating on not falling down.

My races were at the first of the day (1 and 4), and although I did holeshot both of them and kept the lead for a bit, I eventually relinquished to greater talent with faster bikes (sorry, but I have nothing for Tyler), and slipped, both literally and figuratively, to 4th in each. Normally I'd be completely disappointed with that, except that I was nursing a severly ailling clutch (that now needs to be replaced before this weekend if I wanna ride). Additionally, the three guys in front of me were on DOTs or cut slicks; I was the first guy across the stripe with full slicks on a wet track, so that's some consolation.

sorry, but having not been on the track until sunday practice and under the conditions, and having watched my team almost pull off a top 5 finish (thanks MOE for checking how long we can run it before we fill her up ), I was under alot of pressure to stay up. And yes I did stay on two wheels. the track itself is fairly easy, but having never been on it I admit I did not get it down until middle of my second race. Turn 7 well I finally remembered to stay inside and not go wide then flick the bike back to the right.

I will be at TWS (Texas World Speedway) on APRIL 11th and 12th jason

Hence the name Young Gunz Racing .

I think I recall Dean telling me I put the fastest laptime down for our team in the rain, I know in the dry both Brandon and Zeb were faster then me by a couple seconds.

We finished 6th in our class and 14th overall out of the 21 or so that started.

I gotta admit to Tony/Alonzo and others - the Suzuki is waaay easier to ride then the R6/Ninja636! Hands down!
we were top ten overall before a slight get off. Not a biggie at least we demagnetized the bike. And were fighting for third in our class at the end before we ran out of fuel in a planned test to see how long we can run before it goes putt putt putt

lap times varied due to weather. I think the fastest brandon rolled off was a 7 or 8 and Zeb was a 9...we did really good! I think we will cont to do good if i get my phat a-z-z fast as those guys!

I didn't know Nick got a win. That's cool. And it is always good to see Alex go well, too. She's got a crush on me, you know. She wrote "I love you" on my face in big, bold letters on Sunday..

Alex is the only girl who doesn't give me the middle finger salute.
