Don't buy a Yamaha with the fly-by-wire throttle. My son has an 07 R6 and throttle control went bad in 1 year, 13000 miles. Now has other electrical issues.

75% of my bikes are yammies, both r6's and r1's the only problem we had was the recall on the 07 r1 for the ecu, but it took couple of hours to replced.

its only been like that for oh i dont know....ever! the sky is blue water is wet and motorcycle stores are closed sunday-monday. i learned that when i was 12. its not different out of state its a universal thing.

this seems like a sense of entitlement to me. "oh the dealer should change their schedule for me" oh wait i got it!
write obama a letter. ill bet you he fixes it all for you.

seriously dude, somewhere someone is patroling around in a desert getting shot at so you can post stupid like this on the internet and your biggest problem is that you cant coordinate your schedule to buy a new motorcycle.

Also bikes are considered a "luxery" item. People dont have to have bikes but everyone needs cars so of course car dealers are gonna do whatever it takes. And most bike places make money on parts and service right? So not getting you to buy one of there bikes cuz their schedule is convenient for you isnt gonna hurt them at all.

Most of you guys are on here, so I understand why my point is misinterpreted. Retail sales you want to cater their customers and not the other way around. The Auto industry is open late on Saturdays, closed on Sundays, but open on Mondays? Makes it bit more convenient to the person who like me has to work six days a week.

It must simply be a money thing for them? I can't really understand it because sales people are on commission, so not sure how later hours would hurt?

Anyway, I will have to go to Eximport to buy a MC. They really know how to treat a customer and understanf the customer is always right

I like to do all day leisurely Sunday rides when the weather cooperates. you guys know, it just puts you in a different frame of mind. The wind, smells, scenery on a bike is just so much more pronounced.

Entitlement. Your post is a prime example of whats wrong with this country. Everyone thinks the establishment should bend to them.

NW Honda is open till 8:30 on Thursdays and till 6:00 on Saturday I believe.
Cycle Shack North and Wild West are open till 6:00 on Saturdays as well.
If you're looking to get financed I'd call them and see if you can fax over the info so you can get checked out first and save some time.

As far as your post about being open more hours, it becomes a question of diminishing returns; the additonal cost of being open is not offset by the extremely small amount of additional sales.

Plus, everyone needs time off. I and my crew work very hard the hours we're open, however we work to live, not live to work, so we enjoy our time off.
