Why go with the jet engine when you could just get a turbo? I mean isn't a turbo KIND of like a jet engine? After considering all the costs, maintenance, and hassel of putting something like that together, it would seem the turbo is the way to go. But if you do get the jet engine, make sure you get a knowledgeable mechanic for service (try trolling Continental) or get Jay Leno's phone #.

UNLESS you just want this jet engine to make kewl noises. Then I would say putting some speakers on your bike is way easier.

someone already asked that dumb assed question, so I thought of this. my idea is much better, and I'm more likely to be able to ride it. like evil kneivel and . yeah!

This is easy.. but you need to be more realistic and go for slightly smaller turbine, like off a helicopter... that and an extended swingarm will put you right at the top of the heap!!

With all the fueling and drive issues on the jet, you just need to bolt this turbo on and it should do everything you are wanting.....
