Help finding a Blue/White GSXR 1K 4 5,000ish

A good friend of mine finally got the ok from his wife to buy a bike. Its sad I know. He just doesnt know he is getting one yet. Its kinda a b day surprise. I have been tasked with finding it. Im on the hunt for a GSXR 1000. It has to be blue and white and she said the limit is around 5gs. I know this makes it harder. I have CL covered, so I guess Im asking if any of yall have one your looking to sell. Let me know. She wants to get it done soon. Cash in hand.

Hey Robert, I found a 01 750 in blue and white last night for $3800 on craigs list....it was about 75% condition..... No 1000s anywhere near that price....I saw several 05-06s for $6500+. I did see a decent deal on a 05 ZX10 for around $5k.

He is gonna have a hard time finding a decent gix1k for $5k.....at least locally.

I found 1 in Austin and 1 in Dallas. They are 5900 and 5500. One had 8k and the other has 16k. They look clean. So I have 2 good leads so far.

I will rephrase. He insist on a 1000. He is a big boy. Im not even going to mention anymore that I think he should get a 750. He has him M and has some miles under his belt. He knows what he is in for.

I can hear the safety nazis running over here as I type this......They will suggest that a 600 or 650 will be plenty strong enough to carry his big around and he should take MSF and do track days before even considering buying a bike.....LOL

1000 or busa FTW.
BTW what year 1000s did you find in Dallas and Austin? those are decent prices, especially for the mileage....May be pretty good deals.

Wow, sweet, those 03-04's are rare.
I bought the ZZR600 from him Robert.
I've heard someone complain about him but I had no problems with my purchase

He seemed like a good guy. The bike is clean as . The header wasnt even discolored yet. It still has the original tires, warning stickers and reflectors on it. It has exhaust, under tail, and windscreen. The screen is black and you cant see through it in a tuck, so it has to go.

You sure he belongs on a 1000 if he looped out that ZZR600
