That's WAS the one I was thinking of. Started in DeSoto - just south of Dallas. It been all over the news here. I find it hard to believe officers opened fire on the car knowing there was a child inside. I know they were fired upon but the suspect.

another thing i don't understand is why they get 100 police cars following behind 1 suspect. isn't that overdoing it?

you should of seen it when it was going down. The suspect opened fired on a truck that was in its way. then opened fired at teh cops. He had a gun and 2 hostages. how many cops would you want behind you if it was you being held hostage?

okay but how many cops could actually do something about it? when you have 100 yards of cops chasing a guy, what's the last 90 yards going to do? it's just like when 2 people fight and everyone crowds around, it's primal immaturity and it's unnecessary. please just name one thing the guy would be likely to do that would require more than 5 or 10 cops, if that many.
