Ya know, I have heard that. And I found that a VERY GOOD reason to try it. So, I measured my wiener. Then I blew up an old 600 doing it. Remeasured, and was dissapointed that I saw no growth.

Nothing more annoying. Especially when your chillaxing and douche bag creeps up on you and does it.
Seriously, I'd like to take their keys out and throw it in the bushes.

I usually see this from Harley guys, not much from sport bikes.

Cali told me once, that every time it happens an angel dies.

But in general, when they start doing that I rip a loud one in their general direction to let them know about the "natural rev limiter."

It drives me up a wall.

Funny story warning!!!

When we went to Lone Star Rally in December we were chilling out on the strand and it seemed like every Harley rider was revving and banging it off the rev limiter. We were parked next to this drunk guy who did it the whole time we were there. My brain was vibrating and I swear a filling came loose. Annoying as .

Anyway, when we were getting ready to leave this Harley rolls by and is banging it off the rev limiter and pop, white smoke and oil all over the place. TA got a good laugh at that one.

I like to rev it under bridges and stuff just cause I LOVE the sound.

Never off the rev limiter though. What's worse is when you start up your bike cold and walk away and your other rider friend revs your bike to limiter cause he likes your exhaust note. cough:lbjasonc:cough. Azzho

We were just talking about this Saturday while en route back to MSR from Geo Kawi.. some db on a 600 GSXR was doing it over and over again in traffic.. i wanted to get out of the truck, walk up to him twist his nipple off and take his keys. Wouldnt have been hard since he was wearing a tank top and no gear. Would have looked funny since I was in a hurry, I jumped in the truck and left the track still wearing my leathers.

Po po, carbed bikes have chokes yes but sometimes or with some carbs you have to open the throttle a little bit to get the air and fuel moving and for the spark to ignite the mixture. Especially on cold days

my buddy was doing this one ride.... at a light....so i dropped my kicked stand, jumped off my bike, turned his bike off, pulled his key out just as the light turned green, i placed his key on the bumper of the truck in front of us and me and the truck took off! ... he wasnt too happy!

I had to catch the truck at the next light to retrieve the key back...he's never rev'd again while with me.

I won't mention any names!

Eh, I never denied that PP1 has more than it's fair share of, shall we say, characters.

I think it is important to reach out to them. If I try to encourage them to go to the track, gear up, etc and they dont listen, then it's whatever.

But to avoid the place, because of a few, or many bad apples, doesnt seem cool to me.

I just try NOT to to be holier than others or come off that way. For example, my OP says, tell me some good reasons why I should bounce it, and I'll try it. Thus far, the penile enlargement is the only good reason I have heard.
