Good/bad apartments on the Northside...

I'm moving to H-town within the next few weeks, and I'm gonna need an apartment where my (namely my bike) won't get jacked...

Anyone know any good apartments? Or any apartments in particular I should stay away from?

And you guys that stay in apartments, what do you do to keep your bike from getting jacked?

j/k man, if u can id recomend to stay away from apartments, but if worst comes to worst then get a bottom floor, close to the gates to exit, and know ur neightbors extremely well... or aim for a garage apartment if u can in the heights

stay away from apartments that gives government assistance housing (even nice apartments are doing that so they can get all their apatments leased)....
(plus sometimes ur neighbor may be the one who robbs u, it happened to me he was watching my every move and when i traveled for a week bam everything was cleaned...)

find a nice storage place close to ur apartment with 24 hours access ....

I think I found a decent complex right off 1960, but I'm not sure...I'd have to be on a waiting list for a garage though, so I'm riding down today to see if there's any self-storage places around 1960 and 45 that I could park my bike in at night, that would be within a decent walking/skating distance from the apartments...

That, and I just ordered a Xena Nightmare lock...hopefully that 'll do some good...
