Yamaha revs at 17,500???

I found this on another forum and wanted to get a few opinions... http://www.motorcycledaily.com/01february06_redline.htm

if thats so, then they got a lot of explaining to do. Along with a few angry owners.

if you wanna read up on that redline false advertising, hit up r6messagenet.com The bike will rev to 17,500RPM, but not off the showroom floor. It will take and ECU ($900) to get that high
