how do you 'floss' your ride

Floss - To flaunt expensive merchadise such as Iced-out rollies, Jaguars on Triple Golds, Gem-encrusted Pimp goblets, Huge whops of dank hydro, etc.

Ok seeing how there are two types of riders; 'those that have gone down, and those that will', at some point your ride will get some 'character'. how and what did you do about whatever scratches, dings, dents, or cracks you acquired? did you even do anything or do you rock those imperfections and battle scars as badges of pride, example: 'yea i got those at the track smoking some fools'; 'yea baby i rode my bike into a ditch, my place or yours' ; or the ever popular 'i looped it'.

Deciding what to do after my little incident, but honestly bike looks like new besides the snapped mirror, and small crack on one of my fairings. you can't even see the crack...but I KNOW its there. figured i'd see what some other people do. definately replacing the mirror (cheap) but not really in the mood to shell out the cash for some a new fairing.

so what did you do / didn't do?

Leave it banged up, that way I know to steer clear of you.

seriously, I try to keep my street bike clean, but after so many twisty ride I get rock chips and all over it.

The most improtant thing to me is to make sure it is well maintained, mechanically.

If you can afford it, fix it back up. If not, who cares.

i might just go the sticker route for now, i know i have some in the garage somewhere. i'll replace the fairing when i can't stand it anymore. i'll spend the money i'd use for the plastics on other fun bits.

and phydeaux, everyone should strive to NOT be like jump&fall.

I mucked the front all up when...well, nevermind. This is how I opted to address the ugliness that had become Mogee's face.

Immediate Stylish Fix that Added Character:
how do you 'floss' your ride

Then we got him a lightbrow ring to match his new rakish character:
how do you 'floss' your ride

Now I don't even want new plastics.

I bought my bike with 14 miles on it and rash all down the right side.

I just don't care to fix it. That money is better put to use on pipes, PCIII, etc.

I layed mine over in a parking lot a couple of times. Thankfully I invested in frame sliders. But it left a scrape on the left mirror, clutch handle, and a small tail fairing piece. I don't think it's worth buying all of that just so it will look pristine again. Plus most don't even see it. And I have numerous rock chips on the front fairing. I think bikes are made to ride and it's going to take some form of damage. I say leave it.

In addition two their being two kinds of riders (those who've been down, and those going down) there are an additional to kinds: those that bought a bike to ride, and those that bought a bike to stand by. You gotta decide which of the latter you are. if you bought it to ride, who cares if its got a scrape.....its still ridable.
