AND I would say if you are going to ride street the 2ct's or Powers will be fine, but the 002's are cheap and very nice tires. They will wear pretty quick though. I finally (after many months) heard one complaint on the 002 for the street. The rider felt he had trouble getting the tire up to temp on regualr street riding, which I guess I could fathom. If you are going to the track though the 002's are much better. AND I am running 2ct's right now on my street bike.
thanks joe, and thanks again for the pics
i'm putting these on strictly for the track. i rarely ride the st anymore, and when i do, it's at a mild pace. i wanna improve my track ridin. i just bought some metzeler m3's for the street. i'm gonna take em off and hold em in my garage for a while. i felt like they didn't perform as well as i wanted them to this past sat. that's why i'm switchin to the 002's

so 190 it is

FYI, The BT014 is a 6 year old design, Try the BT016 next time, for street duty.

Yep. 190/55 is the best for a 6" wheel (literbike)

Tell us what kind of riding you plan on doing plz.

2ct's are very good tires (for the purpose they are intended to serve) and are not in the same league as the 002rs's. Not sure why they are being compared to be honest.

Dude, I almost BUSTED MY on Powers on 3090. Fck that! I switch to the BT016 for street...immediately. I can not speak on Pirelli because I have never once used them because I have loved the 002rs, 016 and 003's so why spend more money? But to with the powers and 2ct's. Overpriced and dangerous for ME, personally.

What were you running at the track, Joe...on your R1?

I have always love PP for the street but now the new sheriff is in town, his name is Bt 016, Bridgestone.

2ct's and they broke loose and spectacularly ejected me over the bars!

For track I will now be switching to the 002R/S (if I have to run my 1)

I have Michelin power race on the 6 right now. More tyre than a rookie like myself need.

the only reason I compared the two is because I have found a place that would sell the 002's for the same price as the 016 and I didn't know much about bridgestone. I know people who like the PP 2cts and was just wondering
