PP 2CT vs. BT-002??

I am looking to buy new tires and want everyones opinion between the two....
There seems to be a big price difference and I know most of that has to do with the Michelin name.soooo what do you think?

PP 2CT's suck! Are you planning on doing some track days? If not, there's no reason to get either of those.

If you are, I suggest the Diablo Corsa III. Especially if you ride streets mostly. The Pirelli's have more tread siping, and will do much better in the wet than the other 2.

I had the 2CTs once and I sure didn't think they were worth it.

you named 2 tires...asked what we thought. Tires have been discussed over and over on here. I've yet to hear a complaint with the BT002rs from trackday enthusiasts. And I speak from experience, b/c it's what I run on my bike as well (as do many folks on this board).

here's a couple links for you to browse. lol

I have always ran powers and im on my second set of 2ct's nice street tire because of the hard center... I wont ride a pirelli because of a scare I had with one on my old 600... the heat cycles are garbage and seem like they take foreverrrr to heat up.. I might try a bridgestone next tire but as far as the 2ct its a good tire but I had the same luck with just the pilot power and they are a little bit cheaper... its all on your riding style and what your going to do with the bike

as you know, no issues with the 2ct's here but will see how they do for a couple track days. Maybe go with the bt016? the 002 will wear fast but gets my vote for track

i've done 3 trackdays with 2ct's but i will probably be doing more track than street so i'm planning on switching to a better tire when mine get used up.

you and your customer service

John also offers free mount and balance if you bring him the wheels off the bike....or catch him at the next trackday (make sure he's the tire guy representing...he doesn't attend all trackdays)

You weren't asking me, but I would go with a 190. More contact patch to lay the gixxapowa. Of course the 190/55 though.

AND I would say if you are going to ride street the 2ct's or Powers will be fine, but the 002's are cheap and very nice tires. They will wear pretty quick though. I finally (after many months) heard one complaint on the 002 for the street. The rider felt he had trouble getting the tire up to temp on regualr street riding, which I guess I could fathom. If you are going to the track though the 002's are much better. AND I am running 2ct's right now on my street bike.

I just put on some PP 2CTs... I absolutely love em!!! I had some BT014s on before so no doubt the 2CTs would feel way better.
