P.R. if your looking for something more sportier while retaining the comfort of the 650R, I'd suggest the ZZR600 (2005-2008) also, the same bike but older is the ZX-6R (98-02) They just changed the name and the class since the FI SS 600's bumped it off the SS list. It was my first bike, and a great looking one as well. I could do 300+mile trips on it no problem, and it has raised clipons (handlebars) similar to your 650R. You could snag one for a good price too. Check them out. GREAT bike.

K5 didn't you start out on a Katana?

the mods aren't limited...the only limit is you. with the right tools you can make anything fit. i saw a 650r with an R1 tail. the 650r is not a SS bike, and no amount of parts you slap on it are gonna make it one (not sure if you can drop a 636 engine in it). but then again, if i had wanted a SS i would have just bought one. and just to say it again, mods are not limited.

please CLEARLY tell us what the problem is

edit: so you hate the seat.

Catalyst Composites Race tail for the Ninja 650R - $200.00, middle of the page. stick on some brake lights and a cushion.
