Anyone know where/how to fasten your helmet to your rear seat? Everyone else i know has a clip on there seats to hold an extra helmet when riding, I dont seem to have one? Was told they come stock or was i told wrong? I have a 09 CBR 600RR.

i have not seen a clip ON the seat, but i often see them under the seat. on my f4i i have a hook under the rear seat, and my friend with an 08 r6 has a loop of cable or something like that under the seat.

I hope this is where your passenger helmet is being kept.
Now thats outta the way, when you take your seat off you SHOULD find a little clip. Looks something like this. Hope it helps

makes me wonder if they did not put anything in there then. most honda owners manuals i ahve seen will have a little picture showing where the helmet holder is. often titled "operation component locations"

you should have recieved a metal cable with a loop on each end with your bike, you run cable through the loops on the strap of the helmet and put both loops of the cable on either side of the hooks of the rear seat

also recomend not riding like that cause theres alot of play because of the length of the cable and strap on the helmet and the helmet will bounce all over hiting the rear peg and scratching everything up

You can do it without the cable too.Under the rear passenger seat there are two metal hooks where the prongs of the seat hook under, hook the metal D-shaped loop thing from your helmet onto the metal hook then place the rea seat back on. Its really easy
