SUPERCOOL Performance Coolant

I'm a bit curious if anyone runs this stuff. . .

I flushed my old coolant today and poured this stuff in.
It says on the bottle that it "contains no slippery glycol antifreeze and can be used as a racing coolant" Freezing point is at 32F.
Says to use a long-life antifreeze if freezing temps are to be encountered.
I think I'll just run it until next winter.

It seems to work really well from my 8 min idle test in 77deg air.
Results may vary when in traffic for longer periods of time, not sure.
The hottest temp my bike saw was 208. From there it down and up.
Eventually the fan did its job and cooled it off enough to turn off @ 193F while the bike was still running. I like it

Does your Busa get pretty hot? Keep in mind that this doesn't have antifreeze in it, however it says to use a long-life antifreeze if freezing temps are to be encountered. Not sure what ratio to mix it though, doesn't say

I'll do another flush once it gets cold again and do a mix. Or try the Maxima Coolanol w/waterwetter mix

That's what I figured but wasn't sure. It's a good idea to always have spare fuses. Speaking of, I need to throw some in my tool kit.

WTF, did I just become a mod? My name is blue. SWEET

I'm well aware, but other people need fuses sometimes too That way you don't have to take from your stash
If you really wanna have fun with it, you can install a secondary fan with a switch It's actually pretty common, people do it all the time.
I also heard of some Muzzy fan blades that they sell that are supposed to help a lot too as well. The fan blades may be a bit overboard though.

Front of the bottle says "Ready to use" So there should be no mixing.

I dont know about this stuff, I'd like to hear how much cooler your engine run in traffic. My CBR1000RR will get to 220ish in traffic or at idle.

I use water wetter. My engine runs no cooler than it did before but I prefer to not subject others, or myself, to the glycol in case of a busted radiator.

I do not recall off the top of my head, but I want to say the ratio was 4oz. to 1 gallon of distilled water.

You actually bought WaterWetter though right?

The stuff Gary bought is premixed de-ionized water and water wetter. He was asking the ratio of anti-freeze to mix with the waterwetter/water solution he already has.

Correct. Much of my posts did not even relate to his topic. I am, however, interested in seeing how cool his bike runs, in traffic.

Thanks but read post 6 again very carefully and you will understand what I was asking.
