i painted them, light sand, adhesion promoter, primer then paint,clear coat nothing is chipping, just till i can get new rear sets and levers thought i would try it out.

I'd imagine paint since he said so but who knows.
I recently heard that paint can hold up REALLY good if cooked right (oven) after painting. Looks good man! Now go ride her like she was meant to be ridden, hard and fast

Ya i really wanna do a track day, i think im going to try to do one my the end of this month, then i haave a feeling im going to love it and do it all the time and spend all my money, but oh well. What was you guys first track day like?

Feb 2008. MSR-H with TTD. It was empty, there were like 7 riders in novice and about 10 instructors. That was great for me because I was the slowest that day and got a personal instructor for the day.
That is why I hold special care for TTD, because we have grown together. It has been fun and unless I run out of money (knock on wood) it will still be fun.

When i did it i ended up re doing them, i took them to my shop class and sand blasted them, used adhestion promoter, then primer, them paint, let them dry for like 20 mins and heated the oven to 180, put them in, and turned the heat off, left in for an hour and they are impossible to scratch, i like them alot!
