watched a rider go down today

I was taking a nice little solo ride through the forest today... (yellow F4i with Zebra helmet on passenger) for those that notice things like that...

I got out to 149 about 345/4pm.... rode down to Richards, turned around and came back....

as I past 1374 (road to New waverly) I made it past about 8 more curves... came around a little left sweeper to a small straight and then to a right sweeper...

well, as I can around the left.... about 5 bikes were bookin it past me... then about 10 car lengths was another black bike tryin to shorten the distance... as I looked up to see another bike come around the 'right' that i was coming up on... I see a huge puff of dust...

I was about 200 yards away, I slowed to a stop... making sure he was ok

it was a younger black guy wearing shorts/tennis shoes/black joe rocket mesh jacket..... he was pretty frustrated as he threw his helmet...
he was riding what appeared to be about an 07 GSXR 750

I looked him over.... PRETTY LUCKY... the jacket was somewhat shredded on his shoulder, but his legs looked ok...

and of course when his friends pulled back up.... "there was something in the road and the bike slid out from under me"

knowing that he was ok... and didn't need my assistance, I pulled back on the road....

as I was leaving.... *(and all this took place in about 3 minutes)* a white 4 door F150 pulled up.... 5-0

that didn't take them long at all!! and I never remember seeing a cop today...

OVERALL.... I HAD A NICE RIDE OUT THERE BY MYSELF AT A NICE PACE...

I FEEL SORRY FOR THE GUYS THAT RIDE IN GROUPS AND PUSH THEIR LIMITS TO KEEP UP WITH THEIR FRIENDS...

Hah! I was the guy on the black ninja 250, sorry bout the confusion when you were turning around my bad on that one.

Around 149 @ about 1/4 mile before 1725 i had a that group pass me while i was stuck behind a pickup. I say stuck because Im not stupid enough to pass two vehicles traveling at 60 in a nice grade turn at 85+ where visibility is extremely limited (thankfully they didn't eat a truck).

I didn't get the chance to finish my rant though. After passing the truck where it WAS safe I found the tools in the next turn fishing one of their bro's out of the ditch. Fortunately the guy was uninjured and had minimal damage to what had been a nice all grey gsxr. Apparently he lowsided after comming into the turn far to fast, none of the group had been on 149 before from what they said.

There was jack chit in the road except pieces of his plastics.

Thus I'm even more hesistant to ride with others. I get to pick up enough wrecks at work, I sure don't want to get to scrape people i know off the pavement.

poor how people cant own up to their own fault.

I spoke with his bike, it said the dumbazz saw the 'object' and decided to let him ride over it and lose control. The bike blamed the rider. If only the rider could do the same.

I've seen and hear about this happening alot! People have to ride their own ride, there are always people that are going to be smoother, thus faster, than you are. Just enjoy your ride and get better with time, it ain't worth your life trying to catch up. AS for this guy, he is lucky.
