Super Motard maybe for sale?

Hey guys this is just up for discussion right now so I'm looking for your opinions.

Here's the deal, I've got a 2001 Honda XR650R that is right now in track mode. I have had it road ready and licensed and inspected and it can be put back in that condition in short order. I also have complete off road attire for it hanging on the wall in my garage and it can be fully ready for offroad in a matter of a couple of hours.

This bike has been heavily modified in just about every manner it can be. In short I've had the motor rebuilt by a race motor builder in Colorado (Bare Bones Racing) who specializes in this motor and races them him self. It was bored to 680cc, nicklesilled cylinder, light weight Ross high compression piston. I'm running a Edlebrock pumper carb which makes this motor run like clock work. There has never been anything wrong with the motor or any of the rest of the bike for that matter. I can assure you it will out run just about any other XR650 out there and most motards near it's size.

I'm just not sure whether to strip it down and put it back into its offroad clothes and then sell all the motard stuff separate or to sell it like it is and sell the offroad stuff separate or sell it all together in one package.

Let me know your thoughts and interests. Then maybe I'll decide how to sell it.

Thanks,
Jim

Here it is;

Yeah I think you're right there Chasee!

I guess that's what I'm going to do. I've asked over on Supermotojunkie and this seems to be where the most interest is. I can pretty easily sell all the off road stuff separately.

I guess I'll be listing it pretty soon.

Well Rob I am super busy right now, starting a new business and bringing on quite a few new people and training them, and you know I'm going to soon have a very special project on my hands. SSShhhhhh don't tell! I just don't see myself making it out to the track this whole season unless something unforeseeable happens and I just can't stand to see it sit there and go to waste.

Believe me I don't like giving it up but it just seems like the right thing to do.
