40,000 miles on it but clean bike, Ive put maybe 1000 miles on it in the last year, put lots of stuff on it.. paid 2800 for it then up 5 on sprockets.. $200 plus $200 for new clutch.. plus 500$ new tail end.. put way over 4000 into the bike.. I know that i wont get what i put into it, but just tryin to little bit of somthin out of it.. I'd even let it go for 3000. what do yall think.. I should price it at? lower and just take a HUGE hit on it or hold out for what i put into it? I mean nothing wrong with the bike mechanicaly.. when something has gone out .. its been replaced not fixed.. yah and about the pics.. Dont have a digital camera lol.. maybe ill go buy one when i sell the bike.. thanks guys

GOOD +5 on the rear sprockets? why so much? stunter?

bikes, esp. older sportbikes are bad investments........you can all teh $ you want, but your not gonna get alot back out of it.

1000mi, so how'd you learn to ride?

went up 5 on the rear..but trust me doesnt make all the difference in the world.. still hard to stand it up in 3rd.. now it just roasts the tire down in first in second.. less the tires are really hot.

Get a camera, take pics, post. Like yankee said, people need visuals. If your selling something online without a pic, it's like buying a mail order wife without knowing what she looks like. hahahaha

With original plastic (lowers) and aftermarket (everything else) and unpainted, the bike is worth about $1500-2000 tops. Good luck with the sale. I would keep the bike, learn how to ride it and get the most out of it. You are going to loose your on it if you sell it. It could make a good track bike. It is just a bit heavy to toss side to side. Take this from someone that had the exact same bike for 2 years. It was the most comfortable bike I owned. I sold it in 2000 for $3500.00. Mine was in mint condition with updated 98 plastics on it and a 99 motor in it.
