Was my eyes playing tricks on me or were those brake lights on the bikes at Daytona?

They said it helped with the depth perception in the night race. I wonder if anyone will have them at Qatar? The way they have that track lit up, probably don't need it. Looked weird to see them on their, though.

People on have GSXR track bikes cuz the parts are cheap! That is the only reason I can see for anyone wanting a GSXR!

Apart from making it look cool.............the L.E.Ds on the front were to signal to the crew that they were preparing to pit. So says the commentary.

I think they said Bostrom left them on before the restart so the officials wouldn't wrongfully wave him past the safety car again.
