Arrow Spring Wrench & BBQ Meetup

I am hosting a meetup Saturday, March 14 for anyone that needs to do a little spring maintenance or mods on their bikes. PM for address.

I have plenty of room in the garage, a compressor, a bike lift, a bucket for used oil, any enough general mechanics tools, wire, pullers, taps, back-out bits, pry bars, straps, boards, rivets and duct tape to rig just about anything you might need. There will be some experienced mechanics and some folks who need help so it should be a good time for anyone who likes to work on bikes or ride one that works.

I will BBQ for dinner.

I don't have many bike-specific tools (and certainly no metric bike tools), so bring those if you need them or if you're willing to share. If you want to ride to the house and then pick up what you need from the auto parts store we can arrange a ride or a loaner car. Fry's, EPO and Radio Shack are also nearby.

If you need to trailer the bike a bit early or late it's no big deal, but the goal is to ride home Sunday evening at the latest.

We'll start Saturday at 3:00 and eat around 5:00. My house is kid friendly.

Please post up if you'd like to come so I can have enough food and drink on hand. Mention what you need done, what help you need, any tools or expertise you can provide. PM if you'll need more than a day, if you'd like to come early or whatever and we'll work it out. The goal is to get everyone back on the road this summer in good shape.

This sounds awesome and in my neck of the woods...if I don't have a chance to work on my bike this weekend I'll try to make it out to your garage

If you're eating while all that gets done, you'll be cleaning the EFI with BBQ sauce!

Someone on here is pretty good with electronics, we'll see if he signs up. We should prolly alter the deal to provide beer for mechanics...

me and Phydeaux should be riding down to do the wiring mod for our bikes so I won't be bringing tools just a little know how. I'd love to see the busa tear down to get the tranny forks replaced though just to be a witness

Sure, the more the merrier. Just trying to provide a little help for folks that need it, a garage for the apartment dwellers and a nice evening for anyone that wants to hang out.

This is also part of an eloborate scheme to force me to get the garage in shape for company.

Rain's no problem. 3-car garage with plenty of room and almost everyone can pee in the house. Scatter should bring an umbrella and some tissues...
