I'm surprised we don't see more women racing. Maybe it's the culture, but you'd think that all else equal, women would have a considerable advantage given that they tend to weigh less than men of same height.
I mean, think of everything they do to try and make the bikes lighter. Why not use a rider that has that advantage built in?

On top of that, women tend to have more developed neuro paths to the left side of the brain, thus giving them once more an advantage with quicker reaction times.
