Wish me luck!

Soon I'll be getting my plastics and tank back from Tony for my track bike. I'm excited and also nervous ... excited about getting my bike back together ... but nervous because it's been sitting idle since November ... I hope it'll still start ... i don't want to have to pull the carbs and get it cleaned ... what a pain that would be ...

Tell me you put Stabil in the tank before letting it sit up right?

regardless, when you get it together, run some SeaFoam or Klotz Nitro through it and it should be fine.

Should you expect the same problem from a fuel injected motor?

It's said to not be as large of an issue with a FI bike, but I'd still put a stabilizer if it's going to sit longer than a week.

It started to be a larger problem with the carb bikes once they swapped over to the new gas. Going more from what I've been told than from personal experience.
