went down saturday

saturday night went down hard, only time i haven't worn a helmet, woke up monday in Ben Taub with a fractured skull...

fortunately, i'm able to make a full recovery...after flying 20 feet & landing on the street i dragged myself to a friends house who called 911 for me.

it sux bad. wear a lid.

l 4676c10e21c34f5aa031889916aee99a

l d4a524ee73564ab689d7c51d236efb19

the staples come out in a couple of weeks & my vision returned tuesday, broke a foot peg & most of the plastics, & somehow broke the front master cylinder, so i'm thinking about getting some race plastics & a brembo 19x20...

anyway, didn't find the 'went down as of 2009' thread, so mods feel free to stick this where it belongs.

i've learned to control a powerslide on concrete & asphalt (just in case), but coming home from getting ciggs i was in the neighborhood & a car with their lights off came around the corner, it was damp, & i tried to get out of the way, but they stopped in the middle of the corner, so i thought i'd be able to take the corner tight...the front wheel went out from under me & the bike ended up under a bush, i flew over the bars & hit the asphalt hard...

the car took off.
