I am trying to arrange to purchase an annual pass with the forest ranger gal….anyone else interested in investing $25 for the annual pass? I believe it is good for one year from the date of purchase. and you must be present to get it.

Waiting on the gal to get back to me...left her a message. I have 3 people so far that want to purchase annuals. Ken, Clark? You guys wanting in on this? I was trying to arrange to be at trailhead by 9:30. I'm going to see if 9 am works for her to meet at the ranger station.

Do they give a tag for the bike each day you ride, or how does this work? (year pass or otherwise) I don't own anything to ride out there to begin with, but have been curious as my parents new house is only a few hundred yards away from the East trail. Might be something worth finding a cheap used dirt bike for.

You can pay by the day ($5) or purchase an annual pass for $25...only problem is the ranger station is only open M-F 8-4:30 and you have to be present to purchase. (I never go up there during the week) I have already spent more than the $25 fee in the past 6 months. After inquiring if I could do a mail in form, the lady informed me that the gal tries to arrange weekend meetings if necessary. That is the route I am taking.

The daily pass is just a tear off ticket that matches the envelope you deposit the $5 in, I believe the annual pass is an actual laminated license with your pic and signature.

Okay fella's...got it all set up.

Meet at the Rangers Station on 1375 just east of the east side trail head. Bring $25 cash or check (she can't make change). Please be there by 9 am.

I already have one so I'll just meet at the trailhead... I'll pass the word along to others who may not have one.

No pics. just a laminated card with sig, date of purchase & ranger sig.

Is this just a trail or do they have jumps? Just curious.

just a trail....it's not a trail like going through a few acres of empty land....it's like riding a flat track almost with variations of sand types and lots of tight turns.

i would go, but i can't afford to fly into any trees this weekend. i might hit up ultimate mx or 3 palms tomorrow if anyone is down.

perfect place to get your feet wet. everything is done at your own pace, no 8 year old kids jumping over you.

I've been out at ultimate MX the last couple days (4th and 5th) getting used to the bike.

Cliff & Clark,

Good riding today....a little warm (not really, but we've been spoiled the past few months), really dry, and fun as always.

Sorry my bud held things up at first. He got things torn apart already, found the culprit, and gonna order parts tomorrow.

Ken,
How's the bike?

Until next time.

had a great time too. Half way to Houston I got really sick. Then, in some sick daze I made it home. I ended up puking the rest of the night and had the worst head ache ever. I must have been super dehydrated even though I drank that entire camel back.

can't wait to ride till I puke again with you guys!
