SHNF run...dirt riderz roll call 3/8

I'm in the works of trying to get a few peeps together for Sunday at SHNF for some trail riding. If you're interested in riding, post up. I'm thinking trail head by 9:30, rolling out by 3 (at the latest).

Hotnanas is gonna try and get the forest ranger chick to come out Sunday morning so we can buy annual passes ($35 I think). We pay $5 each time we go b/c the Ranger Station is closed on the weekends. knows I've almost purchased an annual pass with all my $5 daily visits.

probably not on a stock can, you could get a ticket for no SA, but I rode twice with no SA and no issues. It is "required" though.

I could prolly be talked into this.... Lets do the west side, you may like the high speed section on the long loop. Bring your camelbaks... they've been burning out there & it'll be dry, dusty & ashey(if thats a word) unless we get some rain...

& sparky's are a must do to dry conditions

Year passes are $25 & are good for a year from the date you get one; yep, I could've got a couple since mine expired @ $5/ day until I finally started riding up there on weekdays again.

I have softball at 6&7 so I have to leave no later than 3....

Looks like I'll be going to church Saturday evening. Pending the weather (I heard something about rain), I have Cliff, my buddy Judd, and myself as going. Hope Clark can make it out as well.

man, last time they were burning i crashed into a tree that was on fire after having target fixation on another burning tree.

can't wait to roll! my official dirt cruiser 250f has parts at the shop, so I'm still rolling ol too big for me blue.

if anyone wants to carpool from heights area, i've got plenty of room in the truck.

Just a heads up that they were burning a couple days ago, this week, with heavy smoke around the East trail and the Wildwood Shores area. They were also burning some last Friday with some smoke filling the West end of 1375 as well.

I'm not sure if they have anything stating when and what areas they will be burning in, maybe you guys do though.

edit: didn't see kstrs's post a couple back about the burning

all trailheads are open and burning has been taking place on both ends of the trails although they are not scheduled to do any burning this weekend.

weather looks good...kinda hoping that rain moves in Saturday....I'm not a fan of the dust.
