Great ride. Thanks tiatool for leading!
And I didnt crash this time.

Didnt bring the camera either. Thought it was going to rain.
Didnt want to take the chance.

I believe I saw someone on a blue R1 with a video camera mounted on the bottom of the nose.

Right over the bridge there is a new marina/RV park. The restaurant sits right on the water. Good food, pretty good prices.

It used to be an overgrown park with a public boat launch until about a year and a half ago.

Yesterday was beautiful. It was probably 75 when we were eating out on the deck.

An older couple (I guess upper 50s) pulled up when we were leaving. He was on a 1098R, and she was riding a 999. Cool peoples.

We saw a small group of very nicely shaped bicyclists up there, but not many.

Yes my group rode through the bike race. And yes, I saw the girl on the ground after she fell. There were people running across the street after a blind corner. They should just close that road when they do events out there, it really is too dangerous.

Yeh that was me, apparently my battery isnt holding a charge on my camera and what little video i did capture wouldnt play on my computer for some reason. I need to reevaluate my video camera situation, i have had nothing but problems with this one.

Yesterday going through the forest at around 3 or so, there was a biker guy parked at the rest area taking photos of bikers when I came through. I gave him the peace sign as he snapped the picture of the Ninja. (I'm sure he only got the red blurr though being no Ninja while moving can be spotted)

Thanks to everybody for a great ride yesterday. I was concerned at first about riding with people I didn't know, in an area I didn't know, but I couldn't have had a better time. The ride was great, the people were great, and I can't wait to do it again.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind next time. I only look like this on forest rides. What's the connection?
