after watching it again, yea he did shift in the turns and what not but he was not under any sort of heavy braking or accelerating conditions. he was very smooth with the bike and im sure that is key to being as fast as he is.

texasyankee Three things I noticed: he is closer to the curbs than riders in any other videos, he ran over the curb coming out of turn 1 onto the pit straight and he hit the same sports on each lap.
That is why they setup the bike for GP shift (reverse - 1 up, 5 down). So you can grab a gear in the turn while leaned over and not have to put your foot underneath the shifter and possibly scrape.

Everyone I have seen runs that over... I always have. Gonzo told me that was the line.

That is freakin ridiculous. I've been watching videos of guys i thought were pretty quick but call themselves slow. Now i understand why. They were running laps at around 2:00 and Ty was around 1:37
