I'm kinda late on this thread and this is not any personal experience on a bike but here goes:

My car was stolen sometime in 2004. Whoever the jerk off that stole my car was decided to run every tollroad in Houston. It wasn't until 2006 that they sent my parents a letter asking for close to $3000 in violations and fees. It took me almost 6 months to clear it all up.

They can and will hold off on collecting what is due. You play a game of chance with them. They may or may not send you a notice but they can and will send collection notice to you and it'll be in the $100s, and in my case, the $1000s.

Run the toll at your own risk.

get a ez tag. It takes care of it if you get pulled over.

I spend $100-150 A MONTH in the car. $30 approx on the bike.

Why....

Whitelining WITH an eztag. If i get buzzed, I pay. Otherwise, close to the white line... the wind was blowing me sir.

Otherwise I'm a law abiding citizen. I just hate tolls...but I take all the steps to pay it if I must. Got myself covered.
