It will possibly get rid of your chicken strips though
agreed, i am not sure there is even more than 1 advanced guy that I have seen that can toast an entire rear tire in a single track day. Maybe a single weekend.

For novice and intermediate you can expect a soft set of tires to last a good 3-5 track days.

And if you push your limits anywhere you take a chance of going down. Just on the track there is no cars to run over you, trees or poles to hit, and there is a crash truck and a meat wagon waiting on you.
No. And especially if they are coming out with a hard compound tire. typically what most street riders have. Furthermore, more than likely they will have hella side rubber left if all they've been doing is street riding.

, I was getting 3 or 4 days out of a 240.00 set bt002rs and I am not SLOW. A little slow but not slow. lol

I plead the fifth.

But again, if that's the case maybe we should drive a safer and possibly more legal pace.

And Ranger brakes are not the best by far fwiw.

Do a track day, and you will question your abilities. I question mine all the time.

I still do not know .

IPODS, books, headphones, talking on your cell phone ALL DAY is prohibited in the corners. Corner workers should be focused on the track. After all, you are there for the riders' safety.

So when/where is the next track day?

A cornerworker's main responsibility is the safety of the riders. He/she is stationed at a corner to watch for fallen riders or debree or fluid on the track. They also have flags which are used as a way to communicate with the riders. Without getting into much detail, they warn the rider about danger zones, and when to get on or off the track. They also should have a fire extinguisher for obvious reasons. All cornerworkers have a radio as well to call for medical or a crash truck.

But mostly they are there to take pictures.

Yes, there are instructors for both novice and intermediate riders. I know TTD and Ride Smart have excellent instruction (TTD is better)

For the next day check the TexasTrackDays section on this forum!!

And that's a good one. I guess people dont belive they can damage thier bike on the street.

If you can ride within your limit on the street and not crash, then you can ride within your limit on the track and not crash.
