Good looking out.

Gonna be a 3-4 hour drive for both of these places for me with a vehicle that does about 12 miles to the gallon. But it's all for the sake of hauling on a closed course without crazy cagers, and I can't wait!
Honestly TWS (Texas World Speedway) is my favorite place to cornerwork. There really isn't a bad corner to work there. They all are a ton of fun to watch!

Ya, 20 pages of cut throat bickering Im not reading... lol JK... good points on many sides but dont complicate or arrest someone for the exact words they speak.

Almost all the run offs were about 15mph over the posted speed limit on 3090 by riders going around the leaders of the third group or people that refuse to ride in the third "slow" group their first ride on 3090.

And all admit to their fault, not the leaders nor anyone else.

And since Brandt mentioned it, none of them I recall on the Forest Gnome riders were ever track riders. That said, no one in the fast group has gone off or down in those rides.

It's not "all the way around". For the track day schools that specify it, I believe they require the zippers to go 3/4's of the way around.

I disagree with this as well. I think TWS (Texas World Speedway) is the most friendly for first time track riders. More sweeping turns, less technical than MSR-H. Less really hard braking areas too.

Wow OK back from the Rode E O and I've got a question, might have come up, maybe not. This is mostly directed at Curt, since he is a race CAR instructor.

Do you think doing a trackday in a car makes you a better driver?

Oh boy, here we go.

Yes, I think driving a car at a track day makes teaches skills that are highly beneficial on the street.

I would think that would settle it. Thanks for clearing that up.
