you can show up any time. they start riding aroun 8am and dont finish until 5pm and once you show up you have to sign in and get your bike inspected.

its better to be the for the 1st session cuz they will take you out for a cruise through the track before they let you loose.

i really wouldn't suggest it for first timers... (imho)... they put a LOT of riders on the track at once...

the best one to start with is lstd... (imho)...

ridesmart puts a whole lot more riders on the track... (that's how they can offer lower prices)...

well IMO, i think ridesmart is great for a beginner since they offer you a class after each session and its more teaching oriented in all levels. they have more people but you arent going fast enough to pass people or enough experience to be hauling though 180 degree turns.

LSTD (the other track company) has a school too but its more of an open track day than a actual school so its great to master techniques without having a class to attend. they too have a great school

i say take the ridesmart school for the first half of the day and practice what you learn after the lunch break since they are mostly trying to sell you stuff in the classroom like shirts and DVD's towards the last few hours, lol

more people with unpredictable lines?... i wouldn't send my friends there...

lstd has a great school... and they're not busy trying to sell you tee shirts and stuff...

plus keep in mind that more students = less individual time with an instructor... and that what would help a newbie the most...

longhorn is the other one... i've been to their track day too...

meh... like i've said los... i'd recommend lstd 'c' group with the riders school...

just be careful out there man... the extra bucks have always been worth it to me...
