288 south into angleton, turn left on SOUTH CR-48 and bam, can't miss it.

Los,
Start level 1, does'nt matter how good you think you are, their are things like rules and stuff you need to know before you get out on the track.

its really laid back and everyone is helping you out. the older guys like seeing young guys cuz they can pass on their epxerinece and they feel good about passing the torch to the new generation.

about $135 for the track day and you get to ride once every hour (a session) for about 20 minutes. you will get tired and may need to come in before its over.

$50 for the suit and they also rent boots but thats extra. if you have misc. tools and things like gas cans, tools, etc. there wont be any extra costs and since its close to houston (20 minutes away from BW8 and 288S) you dont have to have buy a tent, rent a room, or rent a big trailer.

+1 what Scorpio said, it doesn't matter how proficient you are on the street, level one is the way to go, because you still have to learn the track, flags, and stuff.

IF in case you are way to fast for level one, after to or three sessions, you can ask the track officials to move you up a level, they'll agree.

screw em. go out there.

i remember someone posted a link of a video of what appeared to be an all out stunt bike on the track tearing it up. there probably wasnt a sprocket on there i didnt see one atleast, but it was still a good video.

you wont need race plastics. just go out there to practice your riding position and the speed will come by itself. im sure javier is coming to so maybe we can have a tech day before hand.

they never close the registration. you can register in feb. and i bet it still wont be full. especially since they arent racing this year at the track all the race pro's who sign up first wont want to go to waste their time getting use to the track.
