F2/F3 Endurance team...

Posting this for a friend. PM me if interested and I'll forward your info.

It'd be a great way (cheap!) for lots of track time.

'I'm just scouting around to see if there are any F3
riders in the club that would like to throw together a
casual F3 endurance team. I'm not looking to put
anything serious together, just a fun/cost effective way to
get track time on Saturday before the sprints on Sunday.

I was thinking that if we got a group together, we could
all go in to purchase a bike. (There's a cheap well
sorted out one on the board now.) I'm looking more for
people who don't crash all the time and who are
financially responsible to put up the cash to fix the bike
if they do.'

Email was originally sent to me and a few other F2/F3 racers. I am already on an endurance team, but thought I'd offer it up to others that want to race.

The few street parts you have aren't really needed...thanks anyway. We all have plenty of parts (I have enough to build another bike or three!).

If YOU need any parts...let me know. I'm trying to clear out the garage and narrow my 'collection' of F2/F3s to about 4 bikes.

Back to original purpose of the thread...there is an opportunity for someone that wants to get into racing (the cheap way!).

I'll say this, he did a pretty decent job hanging with 3 liter bikes on 45 on his F3!!

I don't think he's too concerned with weight. He's pretty big (tall). He's more interested in getting more track time before the Sunday sprints.

Don't know about the overall cost...split race fees and such by all riders. I'd expect somewhere in the $100-300 range per race. Just a guess for race entry & tires. It'd probably be cheaper with 4 riders. Sounds like he may be looking for the riders to 'go in' on buying a bike...unless y'all have one to race. Best bet is to contact him.

PM me your contact info (phone # or email) and I'll pass it along to him...or email him direct at flatblack13@sbcglobal.net his name is Patrick Kelly.

I'll let him know there is a couple of folks interested.
