Stands

So I am looking for a front stand and eventually a rear stand to replace my beat-down T-Rex stand. So the question is which one do I want. I know Pitbuls are the best and Vortex,Woodcraft, and DMP are good, so I have a hard decession to make. Also what kind of front stand do you guys like, the one with with the pin, or the kind that sits under the forks.

I have pitbulls, rear and front. The front one sits below the forks. I like it, the only "issue" is that you can't work on your forks with that stand.
For that purpose the pin one would be better, although it is bigger so taking it to the track might be a drag.
Try to get a good deal on pitbulls, you won't regret it.

I have pit bull both front and rear. For the front I use the one that goes under the forks. I mainly got a front stand so I can easily inspect my front tire.

Pit Bull is the best, it feals so sturdy compared to others they are more expensive but its worth it.

you can get the pitbull front stand and for another 50 or 60 bucks there's an attachment that converts it to a head lift (pin-style)....best of both worlds...pitbull ftw!

you should be able to order it from any retailer that carries pitbull stands.....go to pitbulls website and look up their local retailers.

I have a Vortex rear and LOVE it. You can lift it by spools or swingarm. Pretty handy if you break off a spool at the track or something, you can swap it over to swingarm lift and lift the bike up. However, I would NOT recommend lifting by the swingarm b/c it isn't nearly as sturdy as the spools. I JUST assembled my Vortex front triple stand last night and used it. To me it seems just as sturdy as the Pitbull I once used. . . .

PS I got mine from Sunny
