ticket outcome thread

hello all. see lots of threads asking about lawyers etc but haven't seen anything on the outcome so those that have gotten a ticket, used a lawyer to fight it and what was the outcome and who did u use.
please no "i heard" or "brother-in-law" stories.
just first hand, what u did, where u did it, ie harris county, etc and what was the results.
also please no slamming the "criminals" please
thanks
Michael

Last year:
Harris County, speeding, dismissed, used Monks & Monks
Freestone County, speeding, DSC
City of Houston, speeding, dismissed. used Monks & Monks
Harris County, ran red light, deferred, used Monks & Monks
Hill Country, forget what county, deferred, no atty.

Only only one was on my bike. (Harris Co. speeding, 7 miles over the limit, 42 mph in a 35.) The rest were either pulling the race trailer or one in my wifes Liberty (running a stop light, I swear it was orange.)

now a days when someone asks what a yellow light means it's not "slow down cause its about to turn red." Now it's "speed up and hurry accross the intersection before it turns red"

I cant recall how many i've had in the past but I have had them dismissed through the same lawyer. I've had the luck of getting tickets for stupid . (Not using a blinker(in a neighborhood) is one of them) never for running a stop sign or red light or anything along those lines. But in any case, they have been dismissed.

who to use

I have unfortunately taken my fair share of tickets and have 0 on my record thanks to a awesome attorney and a little money on my part.
He is out of Houston
Scott Markowitz
he specializes in tickets, criminal defense, personal injury.
Typically $125-$175 totally dependant upon what you get stopped for of coarse.
I have yet to even be required to go to court.
he will take care of it over the phone or you can go into his office.

Yesterday had court at the downtown hpd courthouse there was 130 people there per the judge. Anyway my case for speeding was set for trial they had us go to lunch at 12:00 and come back at 1:15( mind you I had to be there at 8am) I get back at 1:10 my lawyer Paul Kubosh 713-220-0990
and the judge walk in at 1:15 on the dot however the D.A and the cop show up 10min. late the D.A. says the state is ready your honor and the judge reply was that's great but I dismissed the young man case at 1:16, When I said return at 1:15 I wasn't just talking to him. You should have seen the look on the faces of the cop and D.A, . Got one more to go in Cypress, I'll keep yall posted
